Jaron McCree
Spring '08, Six-Klub, K.K.A. Unkonkuerable
Brother Jaron D. McCree is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and a 2007 graduate of Boca Ciega High School. While attending high school Brother McCree participated in four years of varsity basketball, two years of varsity football, the chess team, and the French Club. During his senior year he held the prestigious office of President of the Boca Ciega Chapter of 5000 Role Models of Florida.
In addition to his high school activities, Jaron diligently worked to earn the rank of "Eagle Scout" which is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America. Only four percent of Boy Scouts will ever earn this rank. Brother McCree also swam for the St. Petersburg Aquatics Swim Team, where he was granted a bid to swim in the Jr. Olympics.
In the fall of 2007, Jaron was recruited to play football for Baker University. In the year he was a student at Baker, Bro. McCree obtained a 3.47 GPA, and was active in other activities such as Mungano, a multi-cultural club. Jaron became part of Baker history when he was granted the opportunity to become part of the first line of Kappa Alpha Psi on the campus.
Today Brother Jaron McCree works alongside the St. Pete Alumni Chapter in mentoring the young men of Kappa League. Jaron is currently enlisted in the United States Navy where he will finish his last year of school with a degree in Pre-Veterinarian Medicne.
